ASTM A790 UNS S83071 stainless steel tube is a super duplex stainless steel characterized by a very high content of chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen. This composition provides exceptional resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking (SCC), along with very high mechanical strength (approximately double that of standard austenitic steels like 316L).
