Specifications



ASTM A688 specification covers seamless and welded austenitic stainless steel feedwater heater tubes including those bent,if specified, into the form of U-tubes for application in tubularfeed-water heaters. The TP316L grade is a low-carbon (L) version of TP316, containing molybdenum for enhanced corrosion resistance. The low carbon content is crucial for preventing sensitization during welding.
