Specifications



ASTM A688 specification covers seamless and welded austenitic stainless steel feedwater heater tubes including those bent,if specified, into the form of U-tubes for application in tubularfeed-water heaters. The TP316 grade is a molybdenum-alloyed austenitic stainless steel, with the molybdenum content providing significantly improved corrosion resistance compared to the 304 family.
