Specifications
ASTM A312 Gr TP347H is an austenitic stainless steel. It has chromium and nickel content which give it the corrosion resistant properties. For extra toughness, the A312 347h material has higher carbon content. The addition of more carbon causes toughness but is also less strong than the low carbon version of the same material. But to overcome the issue, columbium is added in the A312 Tp347h material. The alloy composition makes the material resistant to most oxidizing agents. Regardless of the high carbon content, the SA 312 Tp 347h material has excellent resistance to intergranular corrosion. This makes the 347h Stainless Steel Pipe be applied in applications that operate under high temperatures with high risk of oxidization. The SS 347H Seamless Pipe material is cold drawn and therefore cannot be hardened by heat treatment. But it could be hardened by cold working. The material could also be easily welded upon.
