MPI 2025 Competitiveness Rating: 16 A+ (Extremely Strong) Steel Enterprises
MPI evaluated 109 steel companies, representing 92.6% of China‘s total crude steel output. The 16 enterprises rated A+ (extremely strong) are considered “close to or already at world-class levels.” These 16 companies alone account for 50.2% of China’s total crude steel production.
